The Bioengineering Building is located in the heart of UCSB’s existing campus. The four-level multi-disciplinary research facility houses a combination of wet labs, lab support space and dry computational research labs. The facility contains flexible research and office space for 120 faculty, graduate and post-doctoral fellows in addition to a 100-seat auditorium at the building’s entry. The building is LEED Platinum and uses the EM2 Series actuators for natural ventilation.
